pseudarolium
n.; pl. -olia [Gr. pseudos, false; arole, protection]
(ARTHROPODA: Insecta)
1. A pad at the apex of the tarsus, similar to an arolium.
2. In Miridae Hemiptera, a more lateral pair of processes present in some subfamilies at the bases of the claws.
